Hello and happy Monday to you!!!
Can you remember - when you were little - that you had a journal in kindergarten/school that you handed to all your friends so they could write into it and leave some information about themselves along with a photo or drawing?
I remember the one I had. It was red and had a kitty on the cover. It had different questions like "favorite color", "favorite activity", "favorite food", "I like...", "I dislike..." - that kind of stuff.
Those friendship journals are very popular in kindergarten right now and Jamie being Jamie (and being my daughter lol) didn´t want a plain store bought one but rather have me making one for her!
Of course I´m super proud when I get a request like this and of course I made her her very own friendship journal! Very woodland-style!
I used quite a bit of fabric from Natalie Lymer´s new line "Enchant" - the cuteness of that fabric is amazing! And it does make perfect buttons, really!
On the inside I used Rie Elise Lrsen paper and a hand carved squirrel stamp.
The owl pin is made from felt using a Gingermelon pattern!
And this is a proud daughter!
Actually I just found my old journal and we had a ton of fun looking through it!
Have a great day!!!
