Hello!
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and a good start into the new week so far!
The weather forecast isn´t very gracious with us these days - upon getting a few rays of sunshine yesterday they already said it is going to be icy cold and pretty uncomfortable again outside so Jamie and I can´t think of anything better than a huge mug of hot chocolate!
I remember to come back to hot chocolate and toast after spending several hours outside diligently building snowmen, going sledding and doing snowball fights!
Being the avid homemaker that I am I refuse to buy hot chocolate, I rather make the mixture myself. It´s a win-win-situation as well - it tastes so much better than the store bought one and you get to use your very favorite chocolate and spices!
To make your own homemade hot chocolate mixture you will need:

Mix everything together with a fork. You can store this mixture in a tin - if you manage to not use it straight away! This will make one big mugs of hot chocolate. Simply boil some milk, add to your chocolate mixture and stir. Don´t forget the buttered toast to make it extra special!

Some peeks from our weekend...building a snowman, having a little winter picnic and crocheting a four-wheeled sausage dog.

We hope to see you back here on Wednesday!
Smart to have some already made in a tin :) Looks like a wonderful weekend :)
